Scoot Adds Chiang Rai, Okinawa and Haneda Routes Ahead of Holiday Season

Published launch dates, aircraft assignments, fare information for new routes as Scoot boosts capacity to meet holiday travel demand.

Overview

  • Okinawa services start on 15 December 2025 with three weekly flights on Airbus A320 family aircraft; Chiang Rai services begin on 1 January 2026 with five weekly Embraer E190-E2 flights; Tokyo (Haneda) will see daily Boeing 787 operations from 1 March 2026.
  • One-way economy fares are set at SGD128 for Chiang Rai and SGD190 for Okinawa and Haneda, with bookings now open via Scoot’s website and mobile app.
  • Frequency increases on existing routes start in August with Bangkok and extend through March 2026 for Taipei, Sapporo, Jeju, Chiang Mai, Ipoh and Vienna.
  • Following the additions, Scoot will operate 111 weekly flights to Thailand and 45 weekly flights to Japan, expanding its network to 76 destinations across 18 countries and territories.
  • Leslie Thng said the network expansion aligns with Scoot’s strategy to enhance Asia-Pacific connectivity and address rising holiday travel demand.
