Overview

  • Schwarz Gruppe and Deutsche Fußball Liga have become shareholders in Dyn Media alongside Axel Springer SE and founder Christian Seifert.
  • Post-deal ownership allocates roughly 42.5% stakes to both Schwarz Gruppe and Axel Springer SE, around 9% to Christian Seifert and about 6.5% to the DFL.
  • Dyn Media launched in summer 2023 under the motto Alles außer Fußball and has streamed over 6,000 live events across handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and hockey.
  • The platform won the 2024 Sport Pro Award for Best New Platform and holds exclusive streaming rights for the 2027–2031 Men’s and Women’s Handball World Championships.
  • The capital increase is intended to expand Dyn’s national offerings, develop new business fields and explore international markets, with closing subject to antitrust approval.
