The couple reconnected in 2018 while pursuing degrees in Florida and began dating shortly thereafter, eventually getting engaged in June 2023.
Nine former cast members from the film, including Rivkah Reyes, Brian Falduto, and Maryam Hassan, attended the wedding, which featured nods to the movie, such as dancing to Stevie Nicks' 'Edge of Seventeen.'
Both Hale and Massagli have left acting, with Hale now working as an OB-GYN sonographer and Massagli as a lawyer for TikTok.
Jack Black, who starred in the film, was unable to attend due to filming commitments but sent a private, heartfelt message to the couple.
