School Bus Overturns on New Jersey Highway, Injuring 13

A crash on the Garden State Parkway sent 13 people to the hospital, including one child in critical condition, as investigations continue.

The crash involved a school bus carrying 31 passengers, which overturned on the Garden State Parkway in Montvale, New Jersey, on Monday night.
Thirteen people were hospitalized, including a child with critical injuries; no fatalities have been reported.
The bus was traveling from Lakewood, New Jersey, to New York when the accident occurred near mile marker 170.9, close to the James Gandolfini Service Area.
Emergency responders, including local fire and police departments as well as neighboring ambulance services, worked to assist the injured and secure the scene.
Authorities, including New Jersey State Police and the Department of Transportation, are investigating the cause of the crash.
