55-year-old Aleita Gladson, a school bus driver from Hawkins County, Tennessee, died in a collision with a pickup truck driven by an 18-year-old.
The crash occurred on the morning of February 26, when the pickup truck crossed into the opposite lane and struck the bus head-on.
Two students on the bus sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment.
Aleita Gladson was remembered as a 'wonderful' and 'sweetest lady' by the community, having served as a bus driver, secretary, and assistant director within the Hawkins County Schools Transportation Department.
