Overview

• Giovanny Campos, a 50-year-old school bus driver from Long Island, New York, has been indicted on charges of kidnapping and raping a female student passenger multiple times from January to July.
• The assaults allegedly took place both on the bus and at Campos' apartment in Queens.
• Campos, who also goes by the name Giovanny Guzman, was employed by Cheese Bus, Inc., and drove a route from Central High School to North High School in Valley Stream.
• Following the allegations, Campos was arrested on September 28 and has since been fired from Cheese Bus, Inc.
• Campos pleaded not guilty to the charges, and if convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison.
