School Bus Driver Indicted for Kidnapping and Raping Student Passenger
Giovanny Campos, employed by Cheese Bus, Inc., allegedly assaulted the girl multiple times on his bus and at his apartment in Queens.
- Giovanny Campos, a 50-year-old school bus driver from Long Island, New York, has been indicted on charges of kidnapping and raping a female student passenger multiple times from January to July.
- The assaults allegedly took place both on the bus and at Campos' apartment in Queens.
- Campos, who also goes by the name Giovanny Guzman, was employed by Cheese Bus, Inc., and drove a route from Central High School to North High School in Valley Stream.
- Following the allegations, Campos was arrested on September 28 and has since been fired from Cheese Bus, Inc.
- Campos pleaded not guilty to the charges, and if convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison.
