Overview
- Scholastic will publish three titles in 2026 to mark the milestone: The Baby-sitters Club: Friendship Crafts on April 7, The Baby-sitters Club Fan Edition: Baby-sitter Summer on July 7, and The Baby-sitters Club Super Special: Baby-sitters on Board! (a graphic novel) on September 15.
- Raina Telgemeier and Gale Galligan will collaborate for the first time on a graphic adaptation of the 1988 Super Special Baby-sitters on Board!.
- The Fan Edition will present each character’s point of view by different authors, with Ann M. Martin returning to write Mary Anne’s story alongside contributions from Becky Albertalli, Coe Booth, Sarah Kuhn, Peter Lerangis, Jahnna N. Malcolm, and Emma Straub.
- The Klutz-crafted Friendship Crafts kit will include instructions and supplies for 10 projects plus a letter from Ann M. Martin.
- Martin called the series’ longevity humbling as Scholastic notes more than 250 titles and nearly 200 million copies in print across 23 languages.
