Overview
- Schillinger Vegan Holding, parent of vegan fast-food chain Swing Kitchen, filed for insolvency on August 1 with about €4.3 million in liabilities and 40 creditors affected.
- All three German outlets in Berlin, Munich and Leipzig have been shuttered following the insolvency filing.
- The company has initiated a Sanierungsverfahren ohne Eigenverwaltung under Austrian law to oversee its restructuring.
- Five Swing Kitchen restaurants in Vienna, Graz, Innsbruck, Zurich and Bern will remain open pending the outcome of the restructuring.
