Overview
- Organizers announced Monday that the second Optum Golf Channel Games will be held at Trump National Golf Club Jupiter on Dec. 16, 2026, with Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy named as team captains.
- Full four-player rosters were revealed: Team Scheffler is Scottie Scheffler, Chris Gotterup, Michael Brennan and Jackson Koivun, and Team Rory is Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Si Woo Kim and Haotong Li.
- The Golf Channel confirmed the event will air on Golf Channel and USA Network and will return to a rapid‑fire challenge format that includes fan favorites such as the Team Relay and 14-Club Challenge plus new challenges for 2026.
- The teams add competitive weight to the exhibition, featuring six players ranked in the world top 20 with captains at Nos. 1 and 2 and several recent PGA Tour winners and Presidents Cup contributors on the rosters.
- Last year’s inaugural Games ended with Scheffler beating McIlroy in a playoff and organizers say they will build on that energy; key production details such as the broadcast team and the specific new challenges are still to be announced.
