Overview

  • Bath's 21-year-old Harvey Cuckson and the Stormers' 24-year-old Alex Groves join on short-term deals ahead of games against the Lions and Sharks.
  • Head coach Dwayne Peel cited Max Douglas' rib injury and Tristan Davies undergoing a head injury assessment as the trigger for the move.
  • Jake Ball and Sam Lousi have traveled for the tour, while Steve Cummins has returned to the Dragons and Jac Price and Will Evans remain out.
  • Cuckson is Welsh-qualified through North Wales and recently made his Bath senior debut, while Groves stands 6ft 9in and previously featured for Bristol and Sale.
