Scandar Copti’s 'Chroniques d’Haïfa' Opens in French Cinemas, His First Feature Since 'Ajami'

Scandar Copti a tourné « Chroniques d’Haïfa » en 2021 et il ne faut donc pas s’étonner que son film, plutôt discret sur le terrain stricto sensu politique, n’évoque pas les conséquences du 7 octobre et de la guerre à Gaza sur ses personnages.

Malgré ses louables ambitions ironiques et la présence dans la distribution de Karin Viard et François Cluzet, « Fils de » est une farce peu convaincante.
