SC DHfK Leipzig Signs Tomas Mrkva from THW Kiel

The Czech national goalkeeper joins Leipzig to replace Kristian Saeveras for the upcoming season.

Tomas Mrkva, 35, has signed a contract with SC DHfK Leipzig until 2027.
The move follows the departure of Kristian Saeveras from Leipzig's roster.
Mrkva will form a goalkeeper duo with Domenico Ebner in the new season.
He previously played for THW Kiel, where he won the championship in 2023.
THW Kiel will now rely on Andreas Wolff and Gonzalo Perez de Vargas as their goalkeepers.
