- At a meeting on September 15 led by Chief Justice B. R. Gavai, the Supreme Court Collegium approved a fresh slate of High Court appointments and confirmations.
- Advocates Jiya Lal Bhardwaj and Romesh Verma were recommended as judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, which would lift its working strength from 11 to 13 upon appointment.
- In Karnataka, Justice Kurubarahalli Venkataramareddy Aravind was approved as a permanent judge, and judicial officers Geetha Kadaba Bharatharaja Setty, Muralidhara Pai Borkatte, and Tyagaraja Narayan Inavally were cleared for elevation.
