SBT and N Sports Win 32-Match 2026 World Cup TV Rights, Tap Galvão Bueno and Tiago Leifert

LiveMode’s sublicensing finalizes Brazil’s split-rights lineup, with CazéTV on YouTube streaming all 104 matches.

Overview

  • The sublicensed deal was announced on Oct. 31 and will run in simulcast on SBT’s free-to-air network and N Sports’ linear pay-TV channels.
  • The 32-match package includes all Brazil games and overlaps with Grupo Globo, which holds 55 matches including the final.
  • CazéTV will carry every match on YouTube, with roughly half of the 104 games exclusive to the channel.
  • Contract terms bar N Sports from digital retransmission of CazéTV’s YouTube streams, limiting its coverage to linear television.
  • The agreement marks SBT’s first World Cup since 1998 as the expanded 48-team tournament runs June 11 to July 19, 2026 across the United States, Mexico and Canada.
