Overview
- The online registration window closed on Thursday, August 27, 2026, for 1,538 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts reserved for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
- The vacancy split is 207 for SC, 1,219 for ST and 112 for OBC, a distribution that concentrates the vast majority of openings in the ST category.
- Candidates must be graduates aged 20–28 as on April 1, 2026, and those in the final year may apply provisionally but must produce graduation proof by December 31, 2026 if selected.
- OBC applicants must pay a ₹750 application and intimation fee while SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and Disabled Ex-Servicemen are exempted, and applicants may apply for posts in only one State or Union Territory where they must be willing to serve.
- The selection follows the standard prelims-then-mains schedule with prelims expected in September and mains in October/November 2026, and shortlisted candidates should watch SBI’s careers portal for admit-card release and state-wise posting details.
