Overview

• The preliminary exam is fixed for August 2, 4 and 5, with admit cards dispatched by email in the third week of July.
• Prelims will be a one-hour online test of 100 marks across English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning sections, with 0.25-mark penalties for wrong answers.
• The recruitment drive covers 541 Probationary Officer posts, comprising 500 regular openings and 41 backlog vacancies.
• Main exam call letters will be released in August or September, guiding candidates to a September test and results by October.
• All admit cards must be downloaded from the SBI careers portal and presented in authenticated digital form at exam centres.
