Overview

  • The online application portal reopened on June 21 and will accept submissions until June 30 through SBI’s official careers website.
  • A total of 2,964 positions are available, comprising 2,600 regular posts and 364 backlog vacancies.
  • Applicants must be graduates with at least two years of officer-level experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank and aged 21 to 30 as of April 30, 2025, with category-based age relaxations.
  • The selection process includes a two-hour online test of 120 objective questions and a 30-minute descriptive exam, followed by document screening, an interview, and a local language proficiency assessment.
  • Applicants in the General, OBC, and EWS categories must pay ₹750, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted; selected officers will receive a starting basic pay of ₹48,480 plus two advance increments.
