- The State Bank of India declared the final outcome of its multi-stage PO recruitment on June 13 after prelims in March, mains on May 21 and June’s group exercises and interviews.
- The final merit list was compiled by normalising aggregated marks from the mains exam and Phase-III group exercise and interview.
- A total of 900 candidates secured places against approximately 600 probationary officer vacancies.

- Shortlisted applicants must complete an online basic banking course before joining and execute a Rs 2 lakh bond committing to at least three years of service.
