SBI, Amundi Launch IPO of 10% Stake in SBI Funds Management, Target 2026 Listing

Promoters target a 2026 completion subject to regulatory approvals.

  • SBI’s Executive Committee approved divesting 3,20,60,000 shares, equal to 6.3007% of SBI Funds Management, through an IPO.
  • Amundi India Holding will sell 1,88,30,000 shares, or 3.7006%, taking the total offer to 5,08,90,000 shares representing 10.0013% of equity.
  • The IPO framework agreement is expected to be executed on November 10, 2025, with the offering planned to conclude in 2026 pending clearances.
  • SBIFML is India’s largest asset manager with a 15.55% market share, QAAUM of Rs 11.99 lakh crore, and Rs 16.32 lakh crore under alternates as of September 30, 2025.
  • SBI earned Rs 4,230.92 crore from SBIFML in FY25, and the listing would be its third subsidiary to go public after SBI Cards and SBI Life Insurance.
