The Saxon Higher Administrative Court in Bautzen rejected the AfD's appeal, affirming an earlier decision by the Dresden Administrative Court.
This ruling follows the classification of the party's youth wing, Junge Alternative, as right-wing extremist in April 2023.
The court cited substantial evidence that the AfD pursued activities against human dignity and democratic principles.
The decision is legally binding and cannot be appealed further by the AfD.
