  • Damaging interior winds at yellow level 2 are expected over the extreme eastern Free State and the western parts of KwaZulu‑Natal, posing dangers to settlements, transport and life.
  • A yellow level 2 damaging‑waves alert is in effect offshore between Saldanha Bay and Plettenberg Bay, with expected difficulty in marine navigation.
  • Extremely high fire danger is flagged for the extreme north‑eastern Northern Cape and the extreme western North West, with UVB indices elevated in several provinces, including “high” in Gauteng and “very high” in the Western Cape.
