Lionsgate has announced the release date for 'Saw XI' as September 27, 2024, less than a year after the release of 'Saw X'.
'Saw X' was a commercial success, grossing $53 million in North America and $107 million globally on a $13 million budget.
The plot, cast, and director for 'Saw XI' have not been revealed yet.
'Saw X' featured the return of Tobin Bell as John Kramer and Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young, and took place between 'Saw I' and 'Saw II'.
The 'Saw' franchise had previously released a new movie annually from 2004 to 2010.
