Overview

  • Directed by Jean-Baptiste Bonnet, the documentary captures SOS Méditerranée’s Ocean Viking during its February–March 2023 rescue mission in the Mediterranean Sea.
  • On June 20, the film was screened simultaneously in more than 100 cinemas across France to coincide with World Refugee Day and the NGO’s decade milestone.
  • A live debate following the screenings brought together Bonnet, SOS Méditerranée president François Thomas, Amnesty International’s Diane Fogelman and journalist Nejma Brahim.
