Savannah Reopens Enmarket Arena Ice to Public Under New Agreement

A new agreement reserves specific fall dates for youth programs, adult leagues, plus public skate, with expanded access planned in 2026.

  • The City of Savannah, Oak View Group and Zawyer Sports confirmed community access to the arena’s ice beginning later this month.
  • Thirteen dates from Oct. 18 through December are allocated for Jr. Ghost Pirates activities and youth hockey.
  • Six additional dates starting Oct. 26 will cover youth practices, adult league hockey and public skating sessions.
  • Session times and full calendars will be released later in October as schedules work around Ghost Pirates games and other arena events, with the ECHL season opener set for Oct. 17.
  • Partners committed to expanding public ice time in 2026, with added capacity supported by the Port Wentworth training and entertainment complex now under construction.
