- City leaders held a ribbon cutting on Oct. 16 for the east-side development beside The Cove at Dundee, which serves veterans.
- Monthly rents range from $650 to $850 with utilities included, and each unit includes a kitchenette, bathroom, built-in bed and front porch.
- The campus adds a resident services building offering a computer lab, meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen and laundry facilities.
- The project cost just over $6.4 million, including a $3.5 million city contribution, with additional support from City Land Value, SPLOST, the Savannah Affordable Housing Fund and private investment.
- Applications will open in November through the Chatham-Savannah Authority for the Homeless for low-barrier placements focused on employed individuals, including people experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence or sex trafficking, and veterans.
