Overview

  • Construction has begun on two inaugural sites in the capital and in Dammam, CEO Tareq Amin told Bloomberg.
  • Each facility targets an initial capacity of up to 100 megawatts with service planned to start in early 2026, including a second-quarter window.
  • Humain is sourcing U.S. semiconductors, including Nvidia’s latest AI chips, which it says have local regulatory clearance.
  • Nvidia previously said an initial 18,000 Blackwell chips would go to Humain as part of broader Saudi sales, while AMD announced a $10 billion collaboration with the company.
  • The venture was launched in May under the Public Investment Fund and is chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman; Reuters reported Nvidia declined comment and Humain did not respond on the update.
