Saudi Arabia to play friendlies at Newcastle United's stadium in September

Saudi Arabia's football team will play friendlies against Costa Rica and South Korea at Newcastle's stadium in September.
The matches will take place on September 8 and 12 as part of Saudi Arabia's 2023 AFC Asian Cup preparations.
Saudi Arabia has won the Asian Cup three times, last lifting the trophy in 1996.
Newcastle United is majority owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF).
These will be the first matches Saudi Arabia plays at Newcastle since PIF's takeover of the club.
