Saudi Arabia will host its first-ever professional snooker tournament, the Riyadh Season World Masters of Snooker, from March 4-6.
The tournament will introduce a new 23rd ball, the 'Riyadh Season ball', a gold ball worth 20 points, making a maximum break of 167 possible.
World-renowned players Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, and current world champion Luca Brecel have confirmed their participation.
The event is part of Saudi Arabia's recent investments in sports, following deals with tennis star Rafael Nadal, boxer Anthony Joshua, and the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
The tournament will feature the top eight players in the world, including two wildcards, and offers a prize pool of $1 million.
