Saudi Arabia Launches Sindalah Island as First Luxury Tourism Hub in NEOM

Sindalah Island opens as part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, aiming to diversify the economy and boost luxury tourism.

Sindalah Island, designed by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, is the first completed region of the NEOM megaproject.
The island is strategically located five kilometers off the NEOM coastline in the Red Sea, featuring luxury hotels, restaurants, and a yacht club.
Sindalah aims to host up to 2,400 visitors daily by 2028, offering 440 rooms, 88 villas, and over 200 serviced apartments.
Saudi Arabia is focusing on tourism as part of its Vision 2030 plan to reduce dependency on oil revenues.
The NEOM project, including the controversial The Line, faces criticism and skepticism but continues to progress with a focus on sustainability and economic diversification.
