- The General Authority of Civil Aviation granted Flexjet permission on December 2 to run on-demand private flights within the Kingdom.
- Flexjet is the second international operator certified since cabotage rules were eased on May 1, following VistaJet’s approval earlier this year.
- GACA said Flexjet satisfied all safety, regulatory, and operational requirements under Saudi Civil Aviation Law.
- The authorization was presented in Riyadh to Flexjet EMEA COO Ben Watts by GACA executive Awad bin Attallah Al-Sulami during an official ceremony.
- Flexjet’s Maltese AOC received the approval, with the company citing strong interest for Riyadh–Jeddah trips, while no launch date or route schedule has been announced.
