SAT Recovers Nearly 6 Billion Pesos Through 2026 Tax Regularization Program

The program uses large penalty relief to encourage voluntary payment and remains open for applications until October 31, 2026.

Overview

  • The SAT reported that, with a July 16 cutoff, the Programa de Regularización Fiscal 2026 recovered 5,968,692,178 pesos for the federal treasury after 36,185 taxpayers regularized their debts.
  • Authorities granted 5,739,143,326 pesos in fiscal stimuli that can reduce multas, recargos and execution costs by up to 100 percent for qualifying debts.
  • Companies accounted for 10,775 regularizations and 4,113,294,329 pesos of the recovered sum while 25,410 individuals contributed 1,855,397,849 pesos.
  • Recovered amounts came mainly from ISR (3,820,203,760 pesos) and IVA (1,914,937,619 pesos) with smaller sums from foreign trade duties and other concepts.
  • The program covers debts from 2024 or earlier for taxpayers with 2024 income up to 300 million pesos, uses ANAM to verify eligible credits, and allows online or in‑person applications through the SAT portal until October 31, 2026.
