SAT de Lima Extends Year-End Discounts on Municipal Fines to Dec. 31

Authorized by Municipal Ordinance 2774, the relief offers higher cuts for online payments on non-traffic administrative sanctions.

Overview

  • Discounts vary by infraction year and payment channel: 2020 or earlier 90% online or 85% at SAT offices; 2021–2022 80% online or 75% in person; 2023–July 31, 2025 70% online or 65% in person.
  • The benefit covers administrative sanctions issued by the Gerencia de Fiscalización y Control and the Gerencia de Movilidad Urbana, such as operating without a municipal license or lacking a valid Civil Defense certificate.
  • Traffic tickets regulated by the National Traffic Regulations are excluded from this program.
  • Payments can be made via the SAT website, Yape and affiliated banks or at SAT offices, and eligibility requires completing the transaction in a single operation by December 31, 2025.
  • SAT officials say the campaign seeks to help taxpayers regularize obligations and avoid coercive collection actions before the new year, with discounts applied to the outstanding amount and associated surcharges and costs.
