Saskatchewan Party Pledges Increased Tuition Rebates for Graduates

Leader Scott Moe promises expanded financial support for students who remain in the province post-graduation if re-elected.

The Graduate Retention Program currently offers tuition rebates up to $20,000 for students who live and work in Saskatchewan.
Scott Moe proposes a 20% increase in the rebate limit, raising it to a maximum of $24,000.
The rebates are provided as personal income tax credits to eligible graduates.
Approximately 85,000 young people in Saskatchewan have benefited from the program so far.
If re-elected, the party also plans to introduce a $5,000 rebate for Class 1 truck driver training costs.
