Overview
- Wing Commander Nash succeeds Wing Commander Adam Collins, who completed a three-year tour that included the 60th anniversary season and a 2024 tour of Canada.
- As Officer Commanding, she is responsible for safety, engineering, welfare, public displays and engagement in the UK and overseas.
- Nash joined the RAF in 2005, flew the Tornado GR4 on frontline operations including tours in Afghanistan, and most recently served as Chief of Staff at Display Wing Headquarters.
- Training for the 2026 display is already underway and the routine is being developed and led in the air by Red 1.
- The leadership change follows an official probe that found sexual assaults, harassment and cover-ups in the unit, prompting calls for cultural reform and stronger accountability.
