SAS Launches First Commercial Electric Aircraft Flights In 2028, Pledging Net-Zero Emissions

Scandinavian Airlines will offer commercial flights on electric-powered aircraft in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark starting in 2028.
The inaugural flights will have 30 seats available and travel domestically within Scandinavia.
The schedule and departure locations for the flights will be announced via email to travelers who reserve seats.
Online reservations will open on June 2, and the price will be the same in all three Scandinavian currencies.
SAS aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 through the use of sustainable aviation technologies like electric aircraft.
