Overview

• Competing films will contend for the Heart of Sarajevo awards across feature, documentary, short and student categories.
• The lineup features 15 world premieres, six international premieres, 28 regional premieres and two national premieres.
• Festival programmers led by creative director Izeta Građević reviewed 1,036 submissions, including 195 fiction features and 291 documentaries.
• A jury headed by Ukrainian filmmaker Sergei Loznitsa includes Berlinale head Tricia Tuttle, actor Dragan Mićanović, writer-director Emanuel Pârvu and writer-director Ena Sendijarević.
• Italian director Paolo Sorrentino will receive this year’s Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award.
