  • Diagnosed at 16 with complex regional pain syndrome, Ruggins lost the ability to walk and spent years in rehabilitation before turning to cycling in 2023.
  • During the record-breaking ride, she cycled 500 km per day on just over 4 hours of sleep each night.
  • The challenge also raised funds for The Bike Project and Bikes for Refugees, supporting cycling initiatives for vulnerable communities in the UK.
