Sarah Rose Named CEO of The Royal Foundation, Starting February 2026

The appointment signals a planned handover to support the scaling of the charity’s flagship programmes.

Overview

  • Rose will take up the post in February 2026 after completing a year-end transition at Paramount.
  • She will remain at Paramount through 2025 as Kevin MacLellan oversees the search for her successor, with Ben Frow continuing to lead Channel 5 creatively.
  • Current CEO Amanda Berry will become Global Partnerships Ambassador, maintaining her involvement after leading the charity since 2022 and previously heading BAFTA.
  • The Royal Foundation said the leadership change comes as it redevelops and scales priority programmes, including Homewards, the Centre for Early Childhood, United for Wildlife and Community Impact.
  • Prince William and Catherine welcomed the hire, and chair Simon Patterson praised Rose’s experience across commercial and public service media.
