• Costume designer Mari-An Ceo says Gellar was only on set to support husband Freddie Prinze Jr. before director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson invited her to film an unplanned dream sequence as Helen Shivers.
• The dream sequence was shot in Australia using a skeleton crew so secretly that Josh Orpin did not learn about Gellar’s appearance until he arrived on set.
