Muhammad Sharif has stated his intention to fight efforts by Surrey County Council to return the children to the UK, asserting that they are happy and safe in his care.
The children were taken to Pakistan by their father, Urfan Sharif, stepmother, Beinash Batool, and uncle, Faisal Malik, a day before Sara's body was discovered in Woking, Surrey.
Urfan Sharif and Beinash Batool were convicted of Sara's murder last week, with Faisal Malik found guilty of causing or allowing her death.
The Lahore High Court has adjourned the custody case until mid-January, leaving the children's future uncertain as UK authorities continue efforts to bring them back.
