Santo Antônio de Jesus and Caruaru Unveil 2026 São João Schedules and Lineups

Overview

• The municipalities, which released their 2026 plans Thursday, confirmed Santo Antônio de Jesus for June 19–24 and published Caruaru’s rural schedule through May 23.
• Caruaru’s São João na Roça will span 13 rural poles with music and cultural acts, with G1 listing dates and artists such as Amazan, Quinteto Violado and Trio Nordestino.
• Santo Antônio de Jesus named national drawcards including João Gomes, Bruno & Marrone, Maiara & Maraisa, Dorgival Dantas and Mastruz com Leite.
• Santo Antônio de Jesus outlined two large stages at the downtown Espaço São João with modern sound and lighting, backstage and press rooms, a staffed medical post, more than 250 toilets and entry screening with cameras and metal detectors.
• City estimates for Santo Antônio de Jesus point to about 600,000 visitors, up to R$100 million in local spending and roughly 5,000 direct and 20,000 indirect jobs.
