• APTRA held the 53rd Martín Fierro television awards on September 29 at the Hilton Buenos Aires, hosted by Santiago del Moro and broadcast by Telefe.
• In a now-viral finale, Del Moro opened the last envelope and announced himself as the Martín Fierro de Oro winner before delivering an emotional speech.
• Telefe’s Margarita won Best Fiction and multiple acting prizes, Gran Hermano took Best Reality, Susana Giménez won Interés General and Best Female Host, and Del Moro earned Best Male Host.
• During the ceremony it was announced that Gran Hermano will return in February 2026 with Del Moro again as host.
