A customer at Ohana Hawaiian BBQ in Santa Rosa discovered a hidden phone in the women's restroom air vent while checking for recording devices.
The phone, which had been recording for approximately 46 minutes, was found with its camera lens facing the interior of the bathroom.
Police identified the phone as belonging to the restaurant’s manager, Daniel Nam, who was arrested and charged with using a hidden device to invade privacy.
Authorities seized Nam's phone and laptop to investigate the extent of the recordings and identify potential additional victims.
