Overview

• Officers responded to a report of an armed domestic violence incident at a home on the 900 block of Keegan Drive shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday.
• The suspect barricaded himself inside the residence and negotiations by a handful of officers continued for several hours without success.
• Police ordered nearby residents to shelter in place around 11:15 p.m. and lifted the restriction just before 7 a.m. Thursday.
• Officers opened fire on the suspect at about 4:55 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
