Santa Rosa mother arrested after toddler overdoses on fentanyl, survives

A 1-year-old child overdosed after exposure to fentanyl in Santa Rosa, California.
The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
The mother was arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse causing serious injury.
This is the third fentanyl-related overdose of a child the Santa Rosa police have seen in the past year.
Fentanyl overdoses have been involved in nearly 60% of overdose deaths in neighboring counties.
