Overview
- Eighteen traditional moleras will offer multiple mole varieties, including mole de Santa María, mole blanco and mole de guayaba, from August 12 through August 15.
- Fifty-three semi-fixed stalls will be set up in the Plaza Principal from August 3 to 13, with 127 additional vendors deploying along Calle Ramón López Velarde on August 14 and 15.
- Mole orders will cost between 90 pesos and 190 pesos and will include chicken or turkey served with rice and freshly made tortillas.
- The festival’s schedule incorporates live music, artistic presentations and family-oriented cultural activities to celebrate local traditions and strengthen community ties.
- Organizers expect to attract over 6,500 visitors and generate around 580,000 pesos in local revenue.
