- A 2001-batch Indian Administrative Service officer, Kaul brings over 20 years of experience in public policy, infrastructure, technology and finance.
- Before this role, he served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture and headed Gujarat Informatics Limited and the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat.
- GIFT City, India’s first smart city and International Financial Services Centre, offers low operational costs, tax incentives and sustainable infrastructure such as district cooling and automated waste collection.
