Overview
- The festival runs through August 2 with more than 100 activities including Basque folklore exhibitions, sports events, children’s workshops and the classic toro de fuego
- Main stage concerts in Plaza San Nikolas feature bands such as Dena, Sei Sega, Rodeo, Lukiek and Naxker while txosnas areas Katea and Triku showcase emerging punk, folk, reggae and rock acts
- Municipal Police and Ertzaintza have deployed mobile patrols, plainclothes officers and advanced surveillance cameras to manage crowds of tens of thousands
- A communal solidarity meal in support of the Saharawi people brought together hundreds of festivalgoers on opening day
- Pirotecnia Zaragozana is set to launch a simultaneous three-point fireworks display at 23:00 tomorrow to cap another full day of festivities
