He views the World Cup as a significant milestone and an opportunity to learn from top professionals under head coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Wagner has expressed aspirations to become a head coach in the future, citing confidence in his abilities and a desire to prove himself in the role.
Prior to joining the DFB, Wagner led the fourth-tier club SpVgg Unterhaching to promotion in 2023 and will soon begin his formal training to become a certified football coach.
