• At about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, a resident at the Casa Canal supportive housing facility was stabbed in the stomach and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
• Thirty-year-old Antoinae Tajzahnique Austin fled the scene before allegedly threatening another person with a knife on San Pablo Avenue, triggering shelter-in-place notices for nearby neighborhoods.
• A coordinated search involving the Marin County Sheriff’s Office drone unit and a CHP helicopter ended when Austin returned to Casa Canal and barricaded herself in a bathroom.
• After a 40-minute crisis negotiation, officers forced entry and arrested Austin on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, exhibiting a weapon and obstructing officers.
